What are the differences between a geared trolley and a plain trolley?

Monorail trolleys are divided into plain trolleys and geared trolleys. What are the differences between them?

1.Differences in structure: A geared trolley has one more hand chain and one more hand chain wheel than a plain trolley; while a plain trolley has one more precision-cast guide wheel than a geared trolley, and this guide wheel has the advantages of being strong, wear-resistant and compact in structure.

2.Differences in driving mode: A plain trolley moves by means of pushing, relying on four wheels to move along the lower edge of the I-steel. A geared trolley, on the other hand, drives the hand chain wheel to rotate by pulling the hand chain reliably, and then drives the four wheels to rotate and move under the action of gear transmission. It is worth noting that the geared trolley adopts a single-side driving mode.

In the actual hoisting process, which type of monorail trolley is more useful? It needs to be judged according to the lifting environment and the operator's habits. If the operating environment is relatively low, a plain trolley can be used to push the hoist easily; if the net height of the environment is high, the chain of the geared trolley must be used to push the hoist.
