Material Analysis of Endless Round Sling

Core materials and properties

Polyester (polyester fiber) Endless round sling are Shengyu's mainstream material, made of 100% high-strength, low-elongation polyester filaments. The inner core is a continuous polyester fiber bundle, and the outer layer is equipped with a wear-resistant polyester sleeve. They feature high strength, an elongation of only 3%, and precise load positioning; they are acid-resistant, UV-resistant, and water-resistant, making them suitable for outdoor and chemical applications; the operating temperature range is -40℃ to 100℃, and the safety factor is 5:1-7:1. They are widely used in conventional lifting operations in machinery, construction, and ports.

Nylon (polyamide) Endless round sling have excellent elasticity, with an elongation of 8%-10%, which can cushion impacts and protect precision equipment and fragile items. They are highly abrasion-resistant and alkali-resistant, but have strong water absorption, resulting in a slight decrease in wet strength. Their acid resistance and UV resistance are weaker than polyester, making them suitable for indoor, humid lifting operations in environments without strong acids.

Polypropylene (PP) Endless round sling are the lightest, float on water, are completely non-absorbent, and have excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, and chemical corrosion. However, they have lower strength, poor heat resistance (operating temperature -40℃~80℃), and average abrasion resistance, and are mostly used for light lifting, water operations, or special corrosion protection scenarios.

Material advantages and applications

All materials used in Shengyu's Endless round sling conform to the JB/T8521.2-2007 standard, offering advantages such as lightweight softness, non-damaging to the surface of the lifted object, non-conductivity, and corrosion resistance. Polyester slings are suitable for most general applications, nylon slings focus on cushioning and protection, and polypropylene slings are specifically designed for corrosion resistance and lightweight operations. Choose the appropriate sling to ensure safe and efficient lifting.
