Before installing the chain electric hoist, confirm that the rated load-bearing capacity of the gantry main beam is no less than the rated load of the hoist. The width of the I-beam track shall match the wheel gauge of the hoist trolley. Ensure the main beam is free of deformation and its welds are intact. Mount the HHBB hoist trolley onto the main beam and adjust clearances to ensure smooth trolley travel without jamming.

Conduct electrical wiring in strict compliance with specifications. The whole equipment shall be reliably earthed with an earthing resistance of ≤4Ω. Wire the limit switches and emergency-stop button properly.

After installation, inspect the chain for kinks and damage, and verify that the upper and lower limit devices are sensitive and effective. Perform no-load trial operation first, followed by rated-load test lifting to check braking and travelling conditions.

During operation, place the gantry on level ground and lock its wheels. Overloading is strictly prohibited. Tighten connecting bolts periodically, lubricate the chain, and carry out routine safety inspections.
