What Types of Chains Can Be Used with Ratchet Load Binders?

Ratchet load binders may look simple in structure, yet every component matters greatly. Poor quality parts will cause troubles once they fail during operation. Fully aware of safety priorities, Hebei Shengyu Lifting Machinery Factory enforces strict production and inspection standards for every ratchet load binder. By controlling component quality, we prevent breakage and failure from the source and ensure safe and reliable product performance. What grade of lifting chain can match such high quality ratchet load binders?

Ratchet load binders are preferably used with Grade 80 alloy steel lifting chains. Grade 70 transport chains and Grade 100 high strength alloy steel chains are also acceptable. The chain specification must match the rated load of the load binder. Ordinary low carbon steel chains are prohibited. The chains shall be quenched and tempered for high tensile strength and good impact resistance against breakage. Never use under rated chains. Inspect chains regularly for cracks, deformation and wear; replace damaged parts promptly. Do not use old or inferior chains to avoid breakage and slippage during cargo lashing and securement operations.
